This gift will enable a child or young person to attend forestry school and outdoor learning. Forest school incorporates cooking over a campfire, making dens and various other activities, along with taking part in outdoor sport activities like hockey and volleyball. All of these activities improve fitness levels and participation skills in our children and young people with Down syndrome. At forest school & outdoor sports a child can build friendships and gain valuable skills to take forward in their future.
