<h2>Off to Work</h2>
<p>Off to Work is a new service which plans to support people living with Down Syndrome into the workplace.</p>
<p>We are looking for employers who are willing to engage our members into employment. We will offer support and ongoing training for those wishing to engage in this rewarding scheme.</p>
<p>Along with our support and training there is the <strong>Government Access to Work Scheme</strong> which provides additional help and funding for employers and employees.</p>
<h3>Government Access to Work Scheme</h3>
<p>An <strong>Access to Work</strong> grant is money for practical support to help you do your job. It’s for people with a disability, health or mental health condition.</p>
<p>The money you get can pay for things like:</p>
<ul>
<li>specialist equipment</li>
<li>travel when you can’t use public transport</li>
<li>a communicator at a job interview</li>
</ul>
<p>How much you are likely to receive depends on your circumstances.<br />
It’s only available in England, Scotland and Wales.</p>
