Their primary mission is promoting sleep health awareness, and most recently, we’ve explored how people with down syndrome can deal with common disorders like sleep apnea, insomnia, and other issues that can cause shorter and more fragmented sleep.
Education, Health and Care plans (EHC) support focusing on the syndrome specific learning style of children and young people with Down Syndrome.
Recently published research study in the Journal of Child Language, has reported that children with Down syndrome can benefit from the use of written words alongside pictures to help teach spoken vocabulary.
