Gift a young person a trip to the cinema with their friends. This would allow a young person to go to an autism friendly screening, this is great for young people with Down syndrome as it is adapted to meet their sensory needs. Young people massively enjoy these outings and gain a great sense of independence being able to go with their friends and DSDT staff without parents present.
Cinema trips are £15 per child – £75 for 5 children – £150 for 10 children.
